Shipping

Shipping Info - All Countries
  • FineDings.com ships packages inside the United States via the United States Postal Service First Class Mail. USPS Priority shipping is available.. but please note that the 2-3 day average delivery time is just an Approximation, not a guaranteed delivery time! Priority Shipping is only available to destinations in the United States.
  • All orders are shipped from our location in Michigan.
  • All USPS shipping costs are based on the order total value. See our USPS Shipping Fees Chart below for exact shipping costs.
  • Most orders received at FineDings.com by 10pm EST will ship the next USPS Business Day. We do not ship on Sundays or holidays. Do not include these days when estimating your expected delivery date.
  • We will charge you a $10 fee for shipments that are either re-routed after leaving our warehouse, are incorrectly addressed due to customer's error, or are refused delivery for any reason unless pre-approved by us. Shipping labels are generated directly from the shipping information you have entered. If you provide us an incorrect zip code or other addressing error e.g. incorrect or missing apartment number, you will be charged the $10 fee to reroute the package.

International Shipping
  • A U.S. customs form will be completed based on the value of the order, but does not include shipping fees. Please do not ask us to mark the package as gift or sample or to falsify this document in any way.

Michigan residents are subject to 6% sales tax on all items.


Damages
Please inspect all packages upon receipt. Any damages or errors in shipment must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt. If damages occur during shipment, Postal Insurance must have been purchased on the order for a claim to be filed with the US Postal Service. If no insurance was purchased, we will be unable to assist in any way, and refunds will not be issued for items damaged in transit. All other defective items must be returned to us at the address below, along with a copy of the invoice. We try very hard to ensure the top quality of our merchandise, and apologize for any defects due to faulty manufacturing. Defective items will always be replaced when inventory is available. If inventory is not available, a refund will then be issued.


Returns
DO NOT USE A REGULAR ENVELOPE FOR RETURNS - USE A PADDED ENVELOPE! NO CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY ITEMS SENT IN REGULAR ENVELOPES - TOO MUCH DAMAGE IS DONE IN THE POSTAL SERVICE SORTING MACHINES!

Merchandise must be returned at your expense in order to receive credit. Full credit (minus original shipping charges) will be issued for unopened merchandise returned within 30 days of your receipt of shipment. No item returns will be accepted after 30 days.

A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to returns over $15. Any credit totaling less than $5 will be applied to your next order.

We do NOT accept returns on Chains, Wire, or Cording Materials!!

Lost Packages
While it is extremely rare for packages shipped through the US Postal Service to be lost, it does happen on occasion. We cannot be held liable for a package once it has been shipped. We strongly urge you to purchase Postal Insurance for your order, available in the Postal Insurance section of the store. Each unit purchased will cover $200 in value. If no insurance was purchased on a lost order, we will be unable to assist in any way, and cannot file a Lost Package Claim without insurance. No refunds will be issued for lost orders without insurance. The only guaranteed delivery service is US Express! If you absolutely need something by a certain date, we urge you to use this service!


Combining multiple orders, and Paypal order changes
PayPal, who also processes our charge transactions, has changed their policy and no longer refunds the fees when we issue refunds. Therefore, if you need to have two orders combined, there will now be a $0.50 charge on the second order (instead of the full shipping/handling fees). While you will only receive one package, there will be two charge/paypal transactions.
